Mehmet, a young man, makes a living by collecting paper. Tahsin Baba is his biggest ally in this world. When an 8-year-old boy named Ali enters Mehmet’s life, his life takes a completely different direction. Mehmet, who attempts to rejoin Ali with his family, builds up an alternate bond with the young man. Ulusoy gives a warm, amiable exhibition, and does his damnedest to keep this film grounded in a conspicuous enthusiastic reality. Yet, sooner or later, this film bounces the rails, and that is something outside his ability to control.
