Season 5 Part-1 Review
The very addictive and compelling Spanish series is coming back with another season filled with an ecstatic plotline. La Casa de Papel a.k.a. Money Heist season five is going to be divided into two volumes. The first volume, including five episodes, is scheduled to be released on Friday, September 3rd. The second volume will follow up in December with the remaining five episodes.
In a world dominated by Hollywood and the English language, La Casa de Papel turned out to be a huge phenomenon when it first aired in 2017. With an engaging and thrilling storyline, the show gained a vast number of followers worldwide.
The characters have managed to keep their audience hooked onto them for four long seasons, and the upcoming season will be no less according to the show’s creator, Álex Pina. Their journey from a bank heist to a full-fledged war is expected to have a pretty memorable conclusion, and the creators are ready to give it to them.
The first episode of the first volume will pick up right where the 4th season ends: Sierra manages to locate the mastermind El Professor, while Lisboa has finally made it inside the bank.
The format remains back-and-forth storytelling, creating contrast for the viewers.
What to expect in upcoming episodes?
While many people believe the show is becoming longer than it should have been, the upcoming episodes were necessary to conclude the cliffhanger. The characters’ arcs require their final farewell, and the story needs as strong a finale as its beginning.
Action sequences mixed with melodramatic episodes are anticipated since Pina said the following words- “The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”
This amount of sneak-peak is enough to excite the already waiting fans for their beloved Spanish series.
