A household ventures in a direction of self-discovery when the teenage son with autism wishes to start dating. Casey leaves for her new high faculty and befriends Izzie, the song crew captain. However, this newfound friendship threatens Casey’s relationship with Evan. Sam copes with Casey’s leaving via drawing; he is also unable to find a new therapist he should be relaxed with the way he was once with Julia.
Sam’s coaching counselor, Ms. Whitaker, discovers Sam’s drawings and encourages him to observe to university. Doug (Michael Rapaport) learns about Elsa’s affair and makes her depart the house. However, the stress of housekeeping makes Doug relent and allow Elsa to come again home, although he maintains his distance out of resentment.
