The third season of “Bates Motel” explores the evolution of the Bates family and dives further into the family history. Finding it greater hard to deny what he has done, Norman (Freddie Highmore) goes to new lengths in an attempt to attain control. His mother, Norma (Vera Farmiga), becomes more and more conscious of what Norman is capable of and turns to his half-brother Dylan (Max Thieriot) for support, which creates intense jealousy in Norman. Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and Norma get closer, however, the uncertainty surrounding Norman continues to be a wedge between them. Bradley (Nicole Peltz) and Caleb (Kenny Johnson) both return this season stirring up trouble.
