Be Right Back, with Domnhall Gleason as the mechanical duplicate of Hayley Atwell’s late husband, exposes our reliance on our online identities to define us under the cover of a romantic tragedy. “White Bear” looks like an apocalyptic sci-fi adventure alluding to how our telephones flip us into “zombies,” till you find out its underlying commentary on hate mob mentality and how that conjures up our obsession with the pain of others. The most polarizing episode of Black Mirror Season two is “The Waldo Moment,” about a cool animated movie character’s worthwhile campaign to run for office. Season two is the final season on the U.K.’s Channel four before Black Mirror transitioned to Netflix, on the other hand no longer the ultimate to exhibit the series as something revolutionary.
