Season 4 by contrast is all about one steady stress pot of tension. The story selections up right where we left off from the preceding season. Gale Boetticher is dead. Walt and Jesse’s lifestyles hang in the balance and at the center of all this lies the ice-cold Gus Fring. The first 10 minutes produce a superb tour-de-force of show don’t tell and from there, the season only grows more assured and tense. Walter and Jesse’s relationship sees its largest take a look at yet as Walter is sidelined in favor of Jesse working with Mike and Gus extra closely. This changed fortune spills over into the most important struggle as both characters if truth be told flip a hundred and eighty stages from their original characters we noticed in the first season.
