In Season 1, Claire Randall and her husband Frank are touring Scotland in 1946 when she receives despatched once more significant in the 18th century. Stuck in a world where a battle between the Clans and the English navy makes existence unsafe for everyone, Claire is rescued through the performance of Jamie Fraser of Clan MacKenzie and delivered to Castle Leoch, the neighborhood she finds out they suspect her of being a spy. Despite their doubts, the Clan accepts Claire as one of their private. Jamie ends up marrying her to protect her from an English Captain who takes a region to be her husband’s ancestor.
