In the fourth season, J.D. (Zach Braff) completes his residency, though it does little to alternate his relationship with Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley), and is nonetheless on the outs with Elliot (Sarah Chalke) after their disastrous coupling. But it is now not all awful news—he dates the upbeat and quirky psychiatrist Molly Clock (guest celebrity Heather Graham). Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes), meanwhile, alter to life as newlyweds, and Dr. Cox and Jordan (Christa Miller) analyze something shocking about their divorce. Notable visitor stars checking in to Sacred Heart this season include Molly Shannon, Matthew Perry, Colin Farrell, and Clay Aiken.
