Parenthood is a fundamental theme for the sixth season, as J.D. (Zach Braff) digests the concept of his impending foray into fatherhood with female friend Kim (guest celebrity Elizabeth Banks). Turk (Donald Faison) and Carla (Judy Reyes) have a daughter, however, Carla struggles with postpartum depression. Another set of parents, Dr. Cox (John C. McGinley) and Jordan (Christa Miller), go to outstanding pains to make certain they’re doing right through their kids. Elliot (Sarah Chalke), meanwhile, plans her wedding with Keith (Travis Schuldt) however has hassle suppressing nagging doubts about their union.
