By season 6, David determined to make the city his everlasting home with his new husband Patrick (Noah Reid) while his mother and father moved to California and Alexis found a professional possibility in New York. In fact, Schitt’s Creek season 6 had record-breaking ratings in addition to stellar indispensable reception. Despite the response, Schitt’s Creek came to an end in the spring of 2020, calling it quits at the peak of its popularity. The decision, however, did not come from the community and instead, the show’s creative team.
