In season 4 of this psychological drama, Norman (Freddie Highmore) is similarly losing his grip on reality and Norma (Vera Farmiga) struggles to get him the expert help that he needs. As soon as unbreakable trust between Norman and Norma begins to wane as Norman falls farther into his downward spiral of madness. Continually drawn to Norma, Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) makes life-changing choices in order to defend her. The relationship between Dylan (Max Thieriot) and Emma (Olivia Cooke) progresses, as Dylan does the entirety he can to be with the aid of her aspect.
