The movie is based on a book by French playwright Yasmina Reza – Le Dieu du Carnage. The movie is directed by Roman Polanski and features Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christopher Waltz, and John C. Reilly.
A fight starts between two eleven-year-old boys Zachary and Ethan that turn violent and Ethan loses two teeth in the fight. To resolve the conflict both the boy’s parents come to talk to each other. The conversation that starts as a polite meeting soon turns into finger-pointing, tantrums, and insults. The movie shows how the behavior of parents at home affects the behaviors of their kids outside the home.
