The Japanese anime epic fantasy film is co-written and directed by Goro Miyazaki. The movie is based on Ursula K. Le Guin’s book ‘Earthsea’ and Hayo Miyazaki’s manga ‘The Journey of Shuna’. The movie features the voices of Bunta Sugawara, Junichi Okada, Aoi Teshima and Yuko Tanak.
Earthsea is threatened by a mysterious force and to counter it the land needs a powerful force. Sparrowhawk along with a prince named Arren join forces to counter the destructive force. But when Sparrowhawk’s powers start to weaken, they must gather support from a priestess and daughter to counter it.
