It is an extraordinary story of Jack in the movie ROOM in which a spirited 5-year-old Jack is cared for by his loving and devoted mother. Just like all the other mothers, Ma is dedicated to keeping Jack happy and safe, nurturing him with warmth and love, and doing typical things like playing games and telling stories. Their life, however, is anything but typical—they are trapped—confined to a 10-by-10-foot space that Ma had euphemistically named Room. the whole universe is created for Jack within Room by his mother, and she will stop at nothing to ensure that, even in this treacherous environment, Jack is able to live a full and fulfilling life. As Jack’s curiosity grows about their situation, and Ma’s resilience reaches its point of departure, they put in place a risky escape plan, ultimately bringing them face-to-face with what might turn out to be the most frightening thing yet: the real world.
