“Wrong Turn” is an independently produced horror film about a group of five teenagers on a hiking trip in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. It is a throwback to 1970s horror films like “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” and “The Hills Have Eyes.”Chris Flynn is driving through West Virginia’s backwoods on his way to an interview when he collides with a group of five friends, totaling his car. Their vehicle is also damaged, so four of them set out to seek assistance, leaving two behind to keep an eye on the vehicles. They’re being picked off one by one by a horde of mutated inbred hillbillies.
