A cosmic horror story about The Gardner’s, a family that relocates to a small farmstead in rural New England to get away from the hustle and bustle of the twenty-first century. When a meteorite falls into their front yard, they are busy adjusting to their new life. The enigmatic aerolite appears to melt into the earth, imparting a dark, otherworldly colour to both the ground and the properties of space-time. The Gardner family discovers, to their horror, that this alien force is rapidly mutating any life form, it comes into contact.
