The Butterfly House directed by Paul Agusta, is an Indonesian supernatural horror film that follows Salim and Tasya, a young couple joyfully preparing for their upcoming wedding. However their plans take an unexpected turn when Salim’s aunt his only living blood relative passes away. Bound by duty Salim must return to his family long abandoned ancestral mansion to handle the funeral and continue a mandatory family ritual of burning incense at a mysterious altar. As a resul the couple decides to relocate their pre wedding photoshoot to the eerie estate. Shortly after they arrive with their photography team, the house begins to reveal its terrifying secrets. The group is haunted by the restless spirits of Salim’s ancestors and the ghost of a tragic bride tied to an ancient ghost marriage ritual. As the supernatural terror escalates and Tasya experiences increasingly disturbing visions, she must delve into the dark, buried history of Salim’s family to uncover the truth and save them both from a deadly curse.
