The Gorge directed by Scott Derrickson is a genre bending blend of action sci-fi, romance, and horror. The story follows two highly trained elite snipers Levi and Drasa who are recruited by shadowy global organizations and stationed in solitary guard towers on opposite sides of a vast, top-secret gorge. Given strict orders not to communicate with each other or the outside world, their sole mission is to prevent whatever lurks within the fog-covered abyss from escaping. Despite their isolation, the two operatives breach protocol and slowly forge a deep long distance bond across the dangerous divide. Howeve when horrifying, mutated creatures begin to scale the walls and attack their outposts, Levi and Drasa are forced to join forces and descend into the terrifying depths of the gorge together. Uncovering an abandoned World War II biochemical lab and a cataclysmic genetic threat, the snipers realize their secretive employers consider them entirely expendable. Facing a nightmare from which no human has ever returned, they must rely on their elite combat skills and their newfound trust in one another to survive the monsters below and the deadly conspiracy above.
