The Hem directed by Tyler Russell is a tense and atmospheric horror film that follows a documentary crew on a perilous assignment. The team sets out to investigate a notorious, long-abandoned church that is rumored to be deeply haunted and is currently on the verge of total structural collapse. Granted access to the dangerous and decaying site they are given one strict and ominous condition: they must complete their filming and be out of the building before dark. As the crew delves deeper into the crumbling sanctuary to uncover its dark history they begin to experience terrifying and unexplainable supernatural phenomena. However, as the sun begins to set and they struggle to meet their deadline, the malevolent forces within the church fully awaken turning their investigative project into a desperate terrifying race for survival against an ancient evil that refuses to let them leave.
