The gothic supernatural horror film is based on Susan Hill’s 1983 novel by the same name. The movie is directed by James Watkins and features Daniel Radcliffe, Ciaran Hinds, Janet McTeer, and Liz White.
The movie is set in 20th century England, a recently widowed lawyer Arthur Kipp travels to a village for a case. There he finds a ghost terrorizing the locals living in his late client’s house. The woman is desperately finding something and for that, she runs down everybody who comes in her way.
