Derek Vineyard has been released from jail after serving three years for brutally murdering two black men who attempted to break into and steal his vehicle. We discover that before going to jail, Derek was a skinhead and the leader of a militant white supremacist gang that committed acts of racial crime in L.A. through his brother’s narration, Danny Vineyard, and that his actions profoundly affected Danny. Derek, newly released from jail and newly reformed, cuts ties with the gang and vows to prevent Danny from following in his footsteps.
