The American black crime comedy is directed by David O. Russell and features Christie Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lawrence, Loius C.K, Jack Huston, Michael Pena, Shea Whigham, Alessandro Nivola, Elisabeth Rohm, and Paul Herman.
The movie is inspired by the FBI Abscam operation, an FBI sting operation that happened in the late 1970s and 1980s that exposed many corrupt politicians and businessmen. The movie has two con artists Irving and Sydney who had reluctantly worked under Richie an FBI agent. Richie uses them for a sting operation that will expose prominent personalities of the country to the world.
