The film, which is based totally on Frank Herbert’s regular science fiction novel, follows youthful Paul Atreides (played with the useful resource of Timothée Chalamet), as he arrives with his family on the inhospitable planet of Arrakis. The planet is domestic to a treasured spice that drives area trips and can even prolong life. However, the Atreides family is unaware of the risks that lurk on Arrakis. Dune is set in the very far-off future, in which humanity has advanced in many scientific respects and mutated in a lot of spiritual ones.
