The action thriller film is co-written and directed by Anthony Maras and is based on the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The movie features Dev Patel, Armie Hammer, Nazanin Boniadi, Tilda Cobham-Hervey, Anupam Kher, Jason Issacs, Suhail Nayyar, and Vipun Sharma.
The movie is inspired by the 2009 documentary ‘Surviving Mumabi’ and takes through the events that happened during the terrorist attack in Mumbai. The Hotel Taj was targeted in the attack and how the guests in the hotel were rescued with the help of the military and the hotel staff.
