The animated biographical drama film is based on the life of Vincent Van Gogh one of the most influential artists of Western Art history.
The movie is written and directed by Dorota Kobiela and Hugh Welchman. The movie is the first one of its kind that is fully painted. Around 65,000 frames were painted to make the movie and joined to make it a painted animated film. The film uses the same technique as CVincent to paint the frames of the film.
The movie features Robert Gulaczyk, Douglas Booth, Jerome Flynn, Saoirse Ronan, Helen McCrory, Chris O’Dowd, John Sessions, and Aidan Turner.
