My Cousin Rachel is a surprisingly thrilling mystery thriller movie. Sam Claflin plays Philip, a moody youthful man of capability in the nineteenth century, constantly grumping about the vicinity with his puppies and horses, tremendously short-tempered with the Hardyesque gallery of property workers. He is disagreeable about women, whom he regards as an alien race. The lovely younger Louise, daughter of family lawyer Mr. Kendall, is evidently in love with him.
