The Bad Batch facilities uneasily on Arlen, a youthful Texan lady launched into the wild barren region. All the undesirables of America are compelled to nearby weather hazardous terrain to survive. Arlen is all of a sudden captured with the aid of cannibals, wholly to have her arm and leg sawed off. But she musters the power to smash out her captors, putting off on an absurdist outing in which she meets a slew of characters, each greater infuriating than the last. A plot involving a black man’s attempt to kidnap Arlen is one of a variety of grotesquely stereotypical details. Amirpour deploys her numerous stable obliviously.
