After being afflicted by a fiery and devastating curse following a deadly encounter with a boar-demon, Ashitaka, the young prince, embarks on a long and dangerous journey to the Western lands to discover why Mother Nature is in such a state of turmoil. Ashitaka will finally arrive in Iron Town, where the ambitious Lady Eboshi, who rules with an iron hand, fights the fearless Princess Mononoke, a mysterious young woman raised by the wolf-god Moro.
