A samurai and his wife were targeted by the infamous bandit Tajomaru in 12th century Japan, and the samurai ended up dead. Shortly afterwards, Tajomaru is arrested and put on trial, but his storey and that of his wife are so entirely different that a psychic is called in to encourage the murdered man to give his own testimony.He’s telling a totally different storey again. Finally, a woodcutter who discovered the body admits that he saw the whole thing and that his storey is entirely different from the others again.
