Rocketman is a biographical musical film based on the life of Elton John, a British musician. Dexter Fletcher directed the film, which was written by Lee Hall. The film follows John from his days as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music in England to his musical collaboration with Taupin, and is based on John’s 1972 song “Rocket Man.”
