Billy Hope is the world’s undefeated light-heavyweight boxing champion. Over the course of his 43-fight career, he has never been defeated. He is happily married to Maureen and the father of a small daughter named Leila. His life appears to be perfect until his wife is shot and murdered during a brawl with a rival boxer. They’d known each other since they were 12 years old, and now his life had come crashing down around him. Billy’s life spirals worse after his wife’s death, with him being barred from professional boxing for a year, losing his house and virtually all of his belongings, and, most bitterly, losing his daughter to the custody of Social Services. He seeks out a specific trainer, Tick Wills, in order to reclaim his daughter and begin his life. Now started his new life from the bottom.
