At the point when a Romulan mining vessel assaults the USS Kelvin, Lt. George Kirk substitutes his commander, who goes to meet the Romulan skipper on his vessel to arrange a truce. He arranges the departure of the harmed starship, including his better half who starts giving birth bringing forth their child James Kirk, and runs the Kelvin into the vessel. Onboard the USS Enterprise, the most modern starship at any point developed, a fledgling team sets out on its first venture. When mankind would endure, the insubordinate youthful official James T. Kirk and coolly coherent Vulcan official Spock should move past their competition and figure out how to stop Nero before he annihilates Earth.
