A young articulate F.B.I. trainee, Clarice Starling, was sent to Baltimore State Hospital to interview a prisoner, Dr. Hannibal “the cannibal” Lecter, a talented renowned psychiatrist turned notorious psychopathic serial killer, for the criminally insane. In the hunt for “Buffalo Bill” a nickname given to a loose, unknown, unstoppable psychopathic serial killer, she must compare wits with Lecter, who has the darkest of all minds, and trust him to give her clues.
