The American black comedy is based on Jordan Belfort’s autobiographical account by the same name released in 2007. The movie is directed by Martin Scorsese and features Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Mathew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, and Jean Dujardin.
Jordan Belfort takes up a job at the Wall Street brokerage firm. By the early 1990s, he is able to start his own firm with his trusted friend Donnie Azoff. Soon he builds a fortune by defrauding investors out of millions. But his sex addiction and drug consumption take life as a direction.
