The American war film is produced and directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie is based on Laura Hillenbrand’s book by the same name. The movie features Jack O’Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, Miyavi, Garrett Hedlund and Finn Wittrock.
Louis Zamperini, a meek young boy, was helped by his older brother to become an athlete. He rose to qualify for the olympics and then went to serve in the military in WWI. In a plane crash he is caught by the Japanese army and sent and tortured as a Prisoner of War.
