It tells the tale of Evey Hammond (Natalie Portman) and her surprising yet instrumental role in bringing down a totalitarian regime that has taken charge of a dystopian Britain. Saved by a man in a Guy Fawkes mask who calls himself “V” (Hugo Weaving) from a life-and-death situation, she learns a general overview of V’s history and agrees, after a time to help him bring down those who committed the crimes that led to Britain being in the shape it is in.
