“Before We Vanish” (Japanese: “散歩する侵略者” – Sanpo Suru Shinryakusha) is a 2017 Japanese science fiction drama film Directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. The movie is based on a play of the same name written by Tomohiro Maekawa.
The story follows Narumi Kase (played by Masami Nagasawa), a young woman whose husband Shinji (played by Ryuhei Matsuda) begins to exhibit strange and erratic behavior. As it turns out, Shinji has been possessed by an alien entity that is preparing to invade Earth. Three aliens in total have come to Earth to study and understand human beings by taking over the bodies of humans.
