“One Summer Story” (Japanese: “ひと夏の物語”) is a 2020 Japanese romance film Directed by Shintaro Sugawara. The movie is based on the manga of the same name by Takuma Natsuki.
The story follows Ryo (played by Kanna Hashimoto), a high school girl who spends her summer working part-time at a seaside amusement park. One day, she meets a young man named Shun (played by Sho Hirano), who works at the park as a chef. The two develop a connection and begin to spend time together, leading to a blossoming romance. However, as the end of summer approaches, they must confront the reality of their feelings and the challenges that lie ahead.
