“Aristocrats” (Japanese: “あのこは貴族”) is a 2021 Japanese drama film Directed by Yukiko Sode. The movie is based on the novel “Ano Ko wa Kizoku” by Saisei Muro.
The story revolves around a family living in Tokyo, led by a strict and traditional father, Goro (played by Masatoshi Nagase), who has a passion for art. The family’s dynamics are further complicated by the arrival of a young woman, Kazuko (played by Suzu Hirose), who becomes entangled in their lives. As Kazuko navigates her relationship with the family, she begins to uncover their secrets, desires, and hidden connections.
