“Outrage Coda” is a 2017 Japanese crime action film Directed by Takeshi Kitano. It is the third installment in the “Outrage” film series, following “Outrage” (2010) and “Beyond Outrage” (2012).
The story picks up after the events of the previous films and continues to explore the power struggles and conflicts within the criminal underworld of Japan’s yakuza organizations. The film follows several characters, including former yakuza member Otomo (played by Takeshi Kitano), who is now living in exile in South Korea. When an old ally is targeted, Otomo is drawn back into the violent world of the yakuza and becomes embroiled in a new wave of betrayals and vendettas.
