“Tazza: The High Rollers” (Korean: 타짜) is a 2006 South Korean crime drama film directed by Choi Dong-hoon. The movie is based on a manhwa (Korean comic) of the same name by Huh Young-man.
The story centers around Goni (played by Jo Seung-woo), a young man with exceptional gambling skills who gets involved in the world of underground gambling and high-stakes poker. Goni’s journey takes him through various challenges and encounters with other gamblers, including the legendary master player Aekku (played by Baek Yoon-sik) and the enigmatic Madam Jung (played by Kim Hye-soo).
