Shakti Soundar Rajan, as in his previous films, tries his hand at a theme that has never been attempted in Tamil cinema before. Tik Tik Tik, billed as the country’s first space film, begins with the Defense Space Division team (DSD), led by Mahendran , discovering that an asteroid is on its way to Earth. It is predicted to reach the world in seven days, endangering the lives of four billion people. They also discover that the asteroid should be destroyed with a heavy rocket.
