The Japanese animated fantasy film is written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki. The movie features the voices of Mayumi Tanaka, Keiko Yokozawa, Kotoe Hatsui, and Minori Terada.
Sheeta is an orphan girl and is kidnapped by a government agent Muska. He takes Sheeta in an aircraft, but just as they were flying they were attacked by a gang of air pirates. In the mid air collision, Sheeta lands safely and meets a fellow orphan Pazu. They both start their journey of discovering a mystical floating city of Laputa, the city pursued by both Muska and the pirates for its myriad treasures.
