The Japanese anime drama film is written and directed by Makoto Shinkai. The movie features the voices of Kana Hanazawa, Miyu Irino, Fumi Hirano, Megumi Han, Mikako Komatsu, yuka Terasaki and Takeshi Maeda.
It’s the rainy season in Tokyo and Takao Akizuki, a fifteen-year-old student skips his first class and goes to a garden to sit and sketch shoe designs. There he meets a twenty seven year old woman, Yukari Yukino who shares with him the feeling of alienation.
