The Japanese animated musical coming of age movie is directed by Yoshifumi Kondo. The movie is based on Aoi Hiiragi’s manga Mimi O Sumaseba.The movie features the voices of Yoko Honna, Issei Takahashi, Takashi Tachibana, Shigeru Muroi, Shigeru Tsuyugucgi and Keiju Kobayashi.
Shizuku Tsukishima is a fourteen year old girl living with her parents in the Tokyo suburbs. She is an avid reader and was to become a writer someday. One day while looking into the checkout cards of her books she realises that the books she got from the library are all previously taken by a boy called Seiji Amasawa. While writing her first novel, she befriends an antique dealer and tries to find the boy who can be a potential soulmate.
