Released in 2013, the movie is an American tragicomedy based on a Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Tracy Letts.
After the death of their father, the three Weston’s daughters come home to pay last respect. Their mother who is suffering from oral cancer and is also an acid-tonged lady confronts each one in the family how she feels about them. This gives rise to a lot of confrontation by other members of the family.
The movie is directed by John Wells and features Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Ewan McGregor, Chris Cooper, Abigail Breslin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Juliette Lewis, and Sam Shepard.
