In 2045, individuals look for normal departure from life through the computer generated simulation amusement universe OASIS, co-made by James Halliday and Ogden Morrow of Gregarious Games. After Halliday’s demise, a recorded message left by his symbol Anorak reports a game, allowing responsibility for to the first to track down the Golden Easter egg inside it, which is bolted behind a door requiring three keys. The challenge has attracted various ‘gunters’, or egg trackers, and the interest of Nolan Sorrento, the CEO of Innovative Online Industries (IOI) who looks to control OASIS himself. IOI utilizes various obligated workers and representatives called “Sixers” to discover the egg.
