The psychological thriller-horror mystery is directed and written by Alejandro Amenabar and features Emma Watson, David Thewlis, Lothaire Bluteau, Ethan Hawke, Dale Dickey, and David Denick.
The movie is set in 1990, where detective Bruce Kenner investigates the case of John Gray who sexually abused his daughter Angela. But Gray has no sign of recollecting what he has done in the past. Kenner takes the help of a college professor Kenneth Raines who uses recovered memory therapy to retrieve his memory. During the course of his investigation, Kenner finds evidence of a satanic cult that opens a whole new chapter to his investigation.
