A long time after a stone church in socialist Romania’s Carpathians buckled when a campaign caused an avalanche and covered everybody, Dr. Nicolai’s logical group investigating the related Templar Knights beast battling legend finds a profound, overwhelmed cave framework and recruits the siblings Jack and Tyler’s splendid jumpers group to investigate it. Another blast traps them, subsequent to tracking down a puzzling parasite turning all species carnivore, and later an autonomously advanced hunter species. Even though Jack is tainted and turning, Tyler stays with him, and the crowd disperses, pursued by the creatures, who also fly.
