Grug, the overprotective prehistoric patriarch, leads his family to the great unknown in search of a place to settle down after the cataclysmic events of The Croods (2013). Grug stumbles across a secluded Eden of Plenty, containing everything they have been searching while hoping for the best in an increasingly dangerous world and trying to come to terms with Eep and Guy’s budding romance. There is, nevertheless, a catch. The considerably more advanced Bettermans: Phil, Hope, and their daughter, Dawn, have already taken up residency in this verdant heaven on Earth. Now, as tensions between the feuding clans rise, a new challenge threatens both families’ futures. Will the Croods and the Bettermans set their differences aside to fight a common foe and come out alive?
